Mystery JetsIndie band Mystery Jets have announced a headlining date at the O2 Academy in Brixton to celebrate the release of their new album LP4 in April.

Their biggest ever U.K. show will take place on 18 May 2012, and the gig will be part of a full U.K. tour, with more dates to be announced soon.

Frontman Blaine Harrison said:

"We have returned from Texas with dirty boots, a family member heavier (a beautiful young lady by the name of Odessa) and a quiver of new songs.

Admittedly less than we went out with (such are the world's ways) but damn me if they aren't some of our favourite yet."

He added: "Join us on Friday 18th May, 2012 as we roll up our sleeves, pull the cactus needles from our butts and play the biggest hometown jets show yet at Brixton Academy.

Its been a long old while London, and I for one cannot wait."
