New book on Abbey Road set for release

Book to celebrate 80th anniversary

The Beatles'Abbey Road: The Best Studio in the World' is published to coincide with the studio’s 80th anniversary, the 50th anniversary of the first Beatles recording at Abbey Road and the 40th anniversary of the recording of Pink Floyd’s 'Dark Side of the Moon'.

Abbey Road Studios has been at the heart of the music industry for 80 years and is an iconic symbol of British music. With its unique blend of vintage equipment and cutting-edge technology, it remains one of the most technically advanced recording, mixing and mastering facilities in the world.

In recent years, Abbey Road Studios has seen Oasis, Radiohead, Florence and the Machine, Elbow and Paul Weller all record.

'Abbey Road: The Best Studio in the World' features a foreword by Sir George Martin and will be published by Bloomsbury on July 19. The hardback edition will retail for £50.00.
