New peace project from Thom Yorke

Thom Yorke has announced details on his new project, Atoms For Peace. The new act comprises of Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, Red Hot Chilli Peppers bassist Flea, and percussionists Joey Waronker and Mauro Refosco.

Talking about the shows he did with the above in support of his The Eraser album Yorke wrote a statement saying: "We got a big buzz from them and discovered loads of energy from transforming the music from electronic to live, and so afterwards, we carried on for a few days in the studio and decided to make it a loose, on-going thing. Immersed in the area between the two... electronic and live".
