Karen O reveals she's been "tinkering around" with the boys

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs' likelihood of releasing new music in 2012 is looking good, with Karen O revealing that the band are working on new material.

"I've been tinkering around on some new Yeah Yeah Yeahs music with the boys," she told The Sun.

She also revealed that, prior to covering Led Zeppelin for the soundtrack of David Fincher's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, she had never listened to them. She described her cover as "ballsy with [a] primal scream in there which was really fun and liberating to do".
