Nick Cave to write remake of The Crow?

The Crow is a cursed project, everybody knows that, except Nick Cave apparently...

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds We've mentioned that we love Nick Cave right? I think we have. We even have Nick Cave related genius in our next issue (104 out in September). Apparently the original writer to the remake of the film 'The Crow' has abandoned the project and Nick Cave is being tapped to take over.

Bruce Lee's son Brandon was killed on the set of 'The Crow' in 1994 by an accidental gunshot wound and a rumoured curse has followed the brand ever since. Apparently the film's producer Ed Pressman is after Cave after rejecting the original screenplay by Stephen Norrington for reasons of quality. I doubt the guy who wrote 'Blade' could take 'The Crow' and hand in anything other than Hollywood gold but whatever, I'm not Ed Pressman.

These rumours are thus far, fairly unsubstantiated, but awesome nonetheless.
