Snoop Dogg announced for Snowbombing

So there we have it. The Snowbombing organisers promised us big and they certainly haven’t disappointed. Yes, there were a few contractual hitches which delayed the final announcement, but that’s par for the course when you’re dealing with a straight-up West Coast hip-hop icon.

Yes, ladies and jelly spoons: The Doggfather is in.

Mr Dogg (Snoop to his mates) joins previously announced acts like The Whip, The Vaccines, Groove Armada, DJ Shadow, Mr Scruff, Fatboy Slim and around 100 other premier DJ acts to complete a festival line-up which is eclectic as it is ear damaging.

Whether Snoop’s performance will inspire a bout of Old School-style streaking remains to be seen. We can’t promise we won’t get involved if it does. However, if we were a bar in Mayrhofen (which, as you may have noticed, we’re not) we’d be stockpiling gin n’ juice from now through to April. It’s going to be a big week…
