Snoop Dogg to guest with Gorillaz at Glasto?

Since being announced as the replacement for U2 at Glastonbury this year Gorillaz have failed to capture the imagination of...absolutely anybody. Turns it out it's not 2003. Who'd have thought it? What imagination needs capturing? It's all up there. They're cartoon characters who make over-produced non-desrcript, culture absorbent pap. When the phrase "50 quid man" was invented, it was absolutely with Gorillaz in mind. Snoop Dogg however, is still, one of the coolest people to ever do anything, ever.

Speaking to the NME website, Murdoc [who is in the band?] listed the people he wanted to see at the festival when he said "Snoop Dogg, Mos Def and The Hypnotic Brass. But then I can watch them with us when we play... maybe". Ooh. If he performs a song he made with Gorillaz I'll be all like "Meh" but if he does 'Gin N Juice' I'll be all like "F*ck yeah!" Pulled Apart By Horses style. Then again I can probably just go and see Snoop perform a headline set in the Pyramid Stage where he'll almost certainly be performing 'Gin N Juice'. I guess you could say, this barely qualifies as news (c) Kent Brockman.
