Temper Trap discuss controversial track “London’s Burning.”
Australians, Temper Trap on their experience of last year’s riots now they live in the East-end and how it lead to the writing of “London’s Burning.”
“The music had already been written and we were there still in the middle of the rioting, we all live in Hackney and that was one of the spots where it all kicked off. I was looking for something to write about and I thought it was such a significant thing to happen, a poignant thing. It’s not something you go through every day and I felt compelled to write about it... if you lived there and something like that doesn’t affect you, then not much probably will!”
