The Flaming Lips plan double LP with Nick Cave and Yoko Ono

The Flaming LipsNever ones to do things by halves, The Flaming Lips will release a double multi-coloured vinyl set on Record Store Day titled The Flaming Lips And Heady Fwends.

Featuring a combination of new songs, collaborations and EP rarities, the album will feature contributions from Nick Cave, Yoko Ono, Tame Impala, Chris Martin, My Morning Jacket and Key$ha.

In a move seemingly designed to drive fans and collectors unanimously insane, the limited edition album will be limited to just one copy.
