The Flaming Lips to perform with Yoko Ono on New Year’s Eve

Yoko One will join The Flaming Lips for the latter band's new year's eve party in Oklahoma this year.

Dubbed 'New Year's Freak Out No. 5', the show will see Ono perform 'Merry Christmas (War Is Over)' with the band, reports Pitchfork.

In related news, the two acts have also recorded a Christmas song together - a version of The Flaming Lips song 'Atlas Eets Christmas', which previously appeared on their 2007 Christmas record.
