The Mars Volta reveal album details

Fresh from reforming At The Drive In, Cedric and Omar share the goss on their other band's new project....

Cedric Bixler Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López have revealed details of The Mars Volta's sixth album Noctourniquet, which is due for release on 26 March.

The record apparently takes inspiration from "980s UK alt-rockers The Godfathers, Superman comic nemesis Solomon Grundy, and the Greek myth of Hyacinthus".
