The Mexanines bag songwriting award
Frontman James Brander follows in the footsteps of Hannah Rei and The Wombats in being honoured by the Musicians Benevolent Fund Songwriting Awards
The Mexanines frontman James Brander has bagged the award for Songwriter of the Year at the Musicians Benevolent Fund Songwriting Awards.
“I'm blown away to have won," said Brander. "To get this recognition for my songwriting is amazing, and I'm truly grateful to all involved."
The Mexanines are currently in the studio working on as-yet untitled new material. You can catch them live at the following dates:
