The Roots' legendary drummer ?uestlove has spoken to The Sun about forming a super-group with Amy Winehouse and the awesome Raphael Saadiq. Raphael Saadiq is one of those proper soul singers, not an RnB singer, not a pop singer, a modern soul singer, there are so few of them around.
?uestlove who is currently producing John Legend's latest album told of Winehouse's visa problems getting in the way of the group's progress “The group will definitely happen.It’s just the closest she can come to the States is Jamaica. I’m off to France soon so I’ll see if she’s up for discussing it over dinner. We’re Skype-ing the shit out of each other.”
That album might actually sound a little bit special.
