Companies to merge after being given the green light

The Canadian Competition Bureau has given the green light, with no concessions needed,for Universal to buy EMI in that territory. They follow Japan and New Zealand with the decision.
The company is having a little more trouble in Europe and the US, and discussions are still taking place with large concessions being offered by Universal so that they can purchase the company.
