Liverpool Sound City has announced among its first wave of acts White Denim, Death in Vegas, Cloud Nothings and headliner Professor Green.

The multi-stage, multi-media event takes place between 17 and 19 May, kicking off with the UK Music Student Awards at the Echo Arena, an event launched by none other than Beatles producer George Martin.
