A cloud of tranquil gloom masks over ‘Cool Mom’ with a piercing synth complimenting the ominous tones that air out in the tracks surroundings. Married couple, Kelly and Caleb Ellis, vent any dark aggression they have for each other, into this compiled sound of atmospheric electronica that’s drenched in murky melodic synths, rattling percussion, yet all contradicted by an angelically calming vocal.
