After teasing us for a couple of years with singles such as (potential contender for single of the century) 'Gun Mouth', this London posse seem ready to finally launch the debut album campaign - and first single 'Sunshine Buddy' is a suitably LSD-coated dose of manga-pop to get us started.

Kicking off with some Hawaiaan guitars juxtaposed over digital pop beats, the single gets rinsed in a flannel of its own devices, with surf effects washing over the surface, neatly clearing the sand for some lovely Beach Boys-esque harmonies during the breakdown.

Without meaning to drag out the whorey cliche that the best modern pop resembles a retro computer game soundtrack, you can certainly imagine a Zelda style character hopping on a heart icon and morping itself back to health during this beautifully mental tune.
