The Drums announce headline UK winter tour

The Drums' debut, self titled album 'The Drums' opened at number 16 in the UK charts. Is that good? I mean it's clearly good but does it match the spend? I guess their next single will tell the whole story. I tend to think anything in the top 20 is a success at any point. There is nagging feeling that The Drums have expectations beyond their station though? That they're a sales experiment to begin with? Still can't shake it.

The band have already confirmed dates over the summer, playing at Glasto, Reading, T In The Park and a few other festivals but have now announced a headline UK tour for November through December 2010. Presale will be from 9am on Wednesday June 16th.
